All-in-one installation

Any feature you'd like to see in Ultr@VNC? Just propose it here.

All-in-one installation

Is it possible to create an "all-in-one" installation. VNCserver and mirrordriver in one installation?

And if possible maybe also the upgrade included?

The sourceforge site does not allow to host files
when it contain also the driver....

90.000 download * 1mb /month

This is quite expensive if we have to host it on a own server.

Perhaps if rel 1.00 is finsihed, we try to host a combi of vnc and driver via download.com or other download services.

Installation

Yeah, I understand...
A pity that SF won't let you do this.
But download.com or tucows could be the solution thus... :)
You're not far away from v1.0 I guess.

Just out of curiosity: why does it bother SF if you provide a combined installer packet ??

Open source

Is there a reason why you do not release the hookdriver as open source?

The driver is almost identical as the drivers i use in commercial
projects, company's payed for the development.
I told them i need to use it in vnc for beta development, so they agreed that i can use the driver for vnc.

It's a signed agreement, i can not release the code in public.

Need a host sponsor?

I would consider hosting the UltraVNC site at no cost to the UltraVNC team in exchange for a little programming help.

Let me know if you are interested. You can email me at jim__hubbard@hotmail.com or jim.hubbard@hubbardsoftware.net .
