Config-lib

Post by shadowfax »

Not sure if this is exactly a feature request...

Could we have a new project for configuration such as the config-lib in TightVNC?

It would make configuration a little more abstract and I think it would help with some precompiler conditions such as disableing the registry for remote support tools such as SC, ChunkVNC, etc. IMHO the configuration should be a little more abstract.

I would also suggest a little code cleanup. Right now some header files are inside the source folder, and the resource file is inside he source folder. Would be nice to clean it a little so other people could contribute to it easilly as all code is organized.

During the last few years I've been using GitHub quite a lot... It's a nice way to get projects moving through collaboration. Would it be possible to get uVNC on GitHub? What I find nice about it is the way people may suggest code for it (Which can be accepted or not) without granting permissions to the repository source... Plus the posibility of having modified projects hanging from a repository.
