VNC Stops Working

Post by rgunderson »

Hello all, Great work on the newest version I see many improvements. One thing Im still having the same problem with Vista. When I log in to a machine after a few seconds everything stops responding. I close VNC log back in and the computer is in the same spot as I left it and continue what I was doing and then It stops responding again after 20 seconds or so. I tryed to lower my video settings and that didn't help. I'm running Visa Ultimate and logging into XP Pro computers and a server running 2003. Any Idea's? Robert

Thanks for the reply. I mean the service don't stop but the view times out and stops responding and I have to go into task manager and end it and then log back in to the computer and it does this over and over. Does it matter what version the computer I'm logging onto is running? also I'm running version 1.0.6.4

Try to select manual the network type (encoder) instead of auto (viewer).

I tryed that already and it don't change anything. What do you think about connecting to a computer with a older version of VNC? Does it matter?

I think it has something to do when the computer is in lockout and I here that they are still having problem with that even with the new version of vnc.
