The link for "win32 1.0.6.5 server" is incorrect.
win32 1.0.6.5 server --> UltraVNC_1.0.6.5_x64_update.exe

The link of "Server only 1.0.6.5" points to http://www.uvnc.com/download/1065/1065serverr.html, thus finally bringing you back to the starting page of uvnc.com

no, win7 use the vista driver.

"- driver win7"
I actual wanted to say that winvnc now recognice win7 as OS that can use the driver.

OS of vncviewer: 1.0.6.4 xp sp3 and win7rc

winvnc 1.0.6.4 as service: win7rc with aero
aero is NOT restored after viewer close on logged desktop NOK :-)
wallpaper restored, OK

1.0.6.5 and 1.0.7.6 inversed the bug of 1.0.6.4 summer too hot ???

winvnc 1.0.6.5 or 1.0.7.6 service: win7rc ultimate with Aero
fixed aero restored after viewer close, OK :-)
wallpaper NOT restored, NOK :-(

infos:
direct connection
no mirror driver
no dsmplugin
vnc authentication
ultravnc.ini without kickrdp and without clearconsole

steps to reproduce
viewer connect to server on welcome screen FUS (user1)
user1 input password...access to their desktop user1
wallpaper aero is disabled on viewer request (winvnc admin settings)
vncviewer close of winvnc desktop user1

work around
local winvnc, log off/logon restore aero for 1.0.6.4
local winvnc, log off/log on restore the wallpaper 1.0.6.5 and 1.0.7.6

sorry for the delay of feedback :-/

Fixed it, but it should not have worked before...

Cause:
On logon desktop the user is system, killwallpaper is also executed
on this desktop. This save old settings ( no wallaper for system)
AFter logon the restore used the saved settings -> nowallaper.

Solution:
Avoid that killwallpaer is called if user=system, the logon desktop never has wallpaper.... :)

Hi guys,

Seeing a problem with 1.0.6.5 server and WinXP SP2.

When the computer is booted the screen does not refresh at the login prompt, you must manually refresh after every action!

After logging in for the first time and logging back out everything is fine., this only happens on first startup of system. I installed 1.0.6.4 server and do not see this issue. I have tested this on 2 different systems. This is with the Hook and system hookdll enabled.

Thanks,
Adam

Minor annoyance, but I've downloaded both the update only and full versions. When applying the UltraVNC viewer only, it reports v1.0.6.4 instead of 1.0.6.5.

Is it possible to fix this as a very small update? Makes it hard to tell if it's updated or not.

]Hi all,

Buggy behavior on Windows 7 x64 so I think I need an update to my server, but where can I get this file; the link reports "bad ID" on an empty html page:

X64 1.0.6.5 Update

I read the mention above but the link for the server update x64 is still bad.

thanks!

I have the same issue on Windows 7 x64; not sure how old my server version is though.
