Users prohibited from logging in

Post by foghorn1871 »

Installed version 1.0.8.2 on a Win 7 64 bit machine. Rebooted. Logged in as user, connected to outside network. Ran a SSLVPN to come back into the machine to test like the machine would be at home. Ran VNC to connect to internal machine. Used DSMPlugin - SecureVNCPlugin.dsm for connection; Auto for Quick Options.

Offered logon screen. Typed in userID / password. Rejected - wrong password. Hmm, it is the user's password. So tried user admin account - same song.

Tried my account - connected to machine fine as I am a member of the IS team. I used the same password I would to log onto our network. However using the aforementioned user and their network password always results in wrong password - so...what password should I be using?

VNC just clone the display, it doesn't have any impact on the passwd/user pair you use to logon on your desktop.
The passwd/user is the same as you use when you logon on the real desktop.
