Server service usage questions

Post by shoodabean »

Please could you answer some questions about using the service mode of ChunkVNC ?

I understand one adavantage of using the service mode is that it will survive a reboot, is that correct ?

Another advantage is that it will allow an operator to use the UAC promtps, is that also correct ?

To keep the client system 'clean' how do you go about removing the service while you are connected to the remote system ?

thanks for your time.

It creates an uninstall shortcut on the desktop. Just run that. It will kick you off once you run it of course.

Yes, as long as the computer retains a network connection the service will reconnect back to the repeater automatically.

Yes

There will be an uninstall link placed on the desktop.
