Compiler Problem

Post by waynefreeman »

Hi, having a little issue with the compiler. When the settings window opens, I get an "Entry Point Not Found" error: "The procedure entry point ReinitializeCriticalSection could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."

This is on a Windows 7 Ultimate system, with all updates current.

The compiled InstantSupport.exe functions properly, but I don't get to make any changes to configuration because the options window, or whatever it is goes away so fast I can't tell exactly what it is or do anything with it. Maybe it's supposed to not be visible, I can't tell.

Thanks,

Wayne Freeman

You're the first person I've heard stating the error "Entry Point Not Found" so I'm not sure what is going on.
After some googling, it appears it could have to do with your antivirus package.

You are not suppose to do anything with the settings window, the compiler is filling it out for you and closing it which is why it flashes to quickly.

Glad to hear it's at least working, sorry I don't have any more information on the error.

Looks like more people has this issue on win7 with different programs.
Can't google a direct solution, most people indicate that the cause is a incorrect dll...
