[Fixed] Log Off Quits VNC

[Fixed] Log Off Quits VNC

Postby UltraCombo » 2011-04-08 14:32

It seems that everytime I log off the computer, I get kicked from VNC and can't reconnect until I either restart the service (requires physical login) or restart the computer. It is currently running as a service.

remote: OS + winvnc version ?
local: OS + winvnc version ?
if applicable, do you have terminal server in use on winvnc computer ?

no bug with this config and OS
tested successfully, can connect again after vnc disconnect and auto log off
3 reconnection attempts is an option need to be activated on vncviewer ... Options but not applicable in this case, because is vncviewer disconnect and send log off.

I cannot duplicate this issue with computers at my work. 1.0.9.6 set to
autoreconnect at "2", computers in question are Windows 7 Enterprise
SP1, x64.

[Edit] VNC running as service.

This seems to be a issue with the Query settings. I would like to have these settings off however then I cannot check "Query If No Logon". If this is checked, I can reconnect once logged out.

Hello!

I have the same Problem, and cant solve it. I have much Win7 x64 Clients with uvnc 1.0.9.6.2 installed. I cant remotly connect, all ok - when a user is logged on at the machine. when no user is logged on, or a user loggs off at the maschine, no vnc connection is possible. after a new login the connection works well.

on all XP machines the connection works always fine.

Here are my ultravnc.ini settings...
