1.0.9.6.3 mouse+keyb don't work

I installed the latest version on a PC connected through wifi (that alone shouldn't be a problem save possible very small lag). When I connect, I can see desktop, but can't click on anything. It just doesn't work. I set different passwords so they don't overlap.
Anyone has any idea what the problem is? I am out of ideas.

The PC I am connecting to has two monitors if that means anything.

There must be a bug with this version. It no longer works when I connect to my wife's PC either!

Me too.
Viewer is OK - i can connect to PCs with older server version.

the default option to ignore remote control is on by default. run the settings program and under the input/file transfer tab, uncheck the disable viewers input box, then restart the uvnc service.

I switched back to 1.0.9.6.2. First it didn't change anything. Then i deinstalled on the "watched" computer, removed all remaining registry-entries containing ultravnc and uvnc, reinstalled 1.0.9.6.2 an then it worked.
