Windows 8 Issue Screen Size Issue

Post by Norm@Home »

I recently installed version 1.1.9.0 on several of my computers and it works fine on Windows Vista and 7 but I'm having a problem with Windows 8. My main screen runs at a resolution of 2560x1440 and the Windows 8 machine at 1920x1200, when I connect and the viewer window opens but doesn't show the whole screen but has scroll bars on the bottom and right. If I drag the window vertically so as to be able to see the whole Windows 8 desktop (and the scroll bars disappear) there is a black bar where the task bar should be (it actually appears to be slightly above where the task bar is) and I can't move the cursor below where the desktop cuts off. If I reduce the vertical size of the viewer window and the vertical scroll bar reappears, I get the taskbar back and I'm able to operate the remote machine normally but I still have to scroll the window.

Any idea's about this problem and a work around?
