Server Passwords

Post by ColinM »

I am currently testing the unattended install of ULTRAVNC 1.1.9.3 Server on Windows XP Pro SP3 machines and the only problem that I have encountered at this stage is setting the passwords in the server installation on the host machine. I have checked the ini files and also the registry enries to see if they are held there but with no luck. I have also not found any other posts in respect of this problem on this site. Is there anyway that during the unattended install I can set this password?

the ultravnc.ini is the only config file, it contain password and settings.
You can run setpasswd.exe mypasswd after uvnc is installed.

setpasswd.exe fullmypasswd
or
setpasswd.exe fullmypasswd viewonlypassword

Well, MSLogon security is stored in the registry only. :)
