Ultravnc configuration

Post by PiscisBufalo »

Hi, I'm new, but I need to know how to configure Ultravnc accessed remotely over the Internet or using the server from a remote location but not from the local network.
I have installed the noip, so my pc is pointing to a host noip.
In the viewer, as the host goes down, ie only put the host name followed by a colon and the port 5900 or should I hold the first "http://" or "www.host.noip.com:5900" or "www.host.noip.com::5900".
Please I need help.
In local network I can connect without any problem, although I have had problems with the file transfer.
In the Firewall ports are open 5800 and 5900, are also open on the router but can not connect from a remote location.
From already thank you very much, and hope to help.

local pc ( 10.1.1.1) <-> (10.1.1.10)router(43.45.2.87) internet

Viewer connect to 43.45.2.87:5900
On the router you need to setup portforwarding
You need to forward port 5900 to 10.1.1.1. so that when you connect to 43.45.2.87:5900 to router send the data to 10.1.1.1:5900

I set up the pcs just as you explained, but I cannot connect over the internect. I connect internally just fine, but can't get it to work over the internet. I've configured a static ip & set NAT to "open", but it still doesn't work. Any other ideas? I'm on a WNDR4000 Netgear router.
