What is the domain name of this forum? (give only the part between the // and the next / in your address bar):

and the FLOSS question! REALLY!

It has taken me 30 minutes to register for this forum, trying different user names, and e-mail addresses.
My first addr was a gmail account which it told me was already in use. So I tried lost password and entered it. DOES NOT EXIST!
Make up your mind guys. Same thing with the first, second and third user name I tried.

It would be easier getting into fort knox!

Yes, the questions are actually trivial for a human, but hard for bots. We still get enough spammers, you wouldn't believe.

Did it say the email address was already in the system or the username?

As a follow on to this rather old thread, please consider - If one has forgotten their password and needs to recover it, it is unreasonable to expect that one will remember ones id as well!!! The best this poor ol soul was able to do was to easily remember his email address. And FWIW that is ALL one should need to remember in order to recover BOTH the id and the password. Since my email was already in the database for these forums, I had to spend a lot of time trying to guess what I had used as an id, in order to recover/reset my password!. Almost gave up!
