When WinVNC is run as a service, the server mapped drives are not visible in the FileTransfer GUI because the service is run with the LocalSystem account, before the user authentication/rights check (done at login).
And drives are mapped using the logged user's credentials...
-> Workarounds:
- login first into Windows once connected with Ultr@VNC viewer.
- if still no mapped drives in FT when loged in, run WinVNC as an application.
- Use some "virtual drive" sofware. It should work, and some free version should be available somewhere.
There's probably a way to fix this in the WinVNC service (mapped drives rescaning in WinVNC when a viewer connects or something like that). Not yet investigated.
Another possibility would be to add UNC support in the FileTransfer codebase... not for now.
Any suggestion is welcome.
