FileTransfer : is it possible to transfer whole directories

Post by UltraSam »

Not in v1.0.0 RC11.

But from RC12 (RC14, RC15, RC16... and all upcoming versions) it is possible: simply select the directories you want to transfer then click the "Send" or "Receive" button.

How it works: a selected directory is first zipped (with all its subdirectories content), then the zip file is transfered and unzipped on the other side.

Note that individual files are also compressed during their transfer when necessary (already compressed files like zips, rar, jpg... don't need to be compressed again).
