When UsingDynamic DNS host How can I connect when inside LAN

Post by bevtech »

When using a Dynamic DNS host name I can not connect when inside the LAN

This is because the Some Routers will not pass the traffic. They know that the host name translates to a local IP address..

Solution: When inside a LAN you need to use the 192.168.x.x address {or the non-routable ip}

For testing the dymanic hosts name you need to be outside the LAN or a different Ip scheme
