Several characters coming up as questionmarks

hello
I'm runing UltraVNC in combination with EVE-ng. I've come over what seems to be a bug where several of the signs on my keyboard show up as "?". Specifically the "/" is coming up as ? and no alternatives are working. so on-screen keyboard isn't helping, copy paste isn't helping etc.

Is there any way to fix this? Using Windows 10, connecting to Ubuntu Server.

My shift 7 is "&".

Do you have the right keyboard driver?
