The content of the shortcut would be handy, adresses don't give any info to repeat it.
The find issue's i need to be able to run it in debug mode.
Does 1.5.0.x have the same issue ?
I'm unsure of how I can share context of the shortcut. I am connecting to an internal server using a shortcut that works on other UVNC installs. It does still happen on 1.5.0.x
Is it a shortcut issue ? Does clicking on the vncviewer.exe direct works.
A viewer issue ?
Does it only happen when you connect to a specific server?
What version is that server ?
Does the viewer try to connect, do you get a password dialog?
Please try to give as much info you can so we can repeat it debug mode
It is on any server/workstation, they're running 1.4.3.6 at the moment. If we connect to it and save a shortcut with the password, running it results in a spinning blue circle and UltraVNC does not appear. The only indication that it was run is a jump list item for "recent" on the icon and the event viewer entries. On 1.6.0.0 I it acts the same. I have tried multiple versions. I believe it started when I switched to a development version. I can connect to these servers directly from vncviewer.exe. All these shortcuts work on all other workstations, it happens on any user on my workstation.
I had a similar problem. I had tried different versions. But always with x64. Now I have tried the latest version with x86 and have no more problems with the shortcuts.
