VNC Session Repeater/Gateway

Post by catGuy »

Hello,

Is there any software out there that allows multiple users to connect to same VNC session. Looking to reduce the number of connections to the to the end device to reduce bandwidth requirements and shift the network load to a separate server. General idea:

VNCServer <-> VNC Repeater/Getaway <-> User 1, User 2, User 3,...

Only a single connection is made between the VNC Server and VNC Repeater/Gateway. The VNC Repeater/Gateway duplicates the feed to all users connected.

Sorry if my terminology is out to lunch but hopefully I get the idea across. Looking to reduce bandwidth requirements.

Thank you
