pb SCIII with one PC and https OK ?

Post by jackouille »

Hi,
I try my SCIII with a lot of PC on different LAN over the world and my PC on my LAN with the uvnc.com repeater and it's OK
But with one it's no OK and I don't understand because I think that will be the firewall with the port 443 that will be not open but that PC can be open a window IE on https://.....
Why ????
I will think that if I can open a https it's OK for SCIII with the port 443 ????
Thanks for your response.

I can tell that most of the time on work LANs you have proxy servers acting also as firwalls. So as end-user it might be difficult even to have access to those log reports.

Most of the time is really trial and error to see what can work and what not. For example I have not been able to make uvnc SC3 work with my configuration. I hope when Rudi is back from holiday he can check the debugging message and tell something or suggest new tests.

(BTW: I do not know if this comment applies also to the guy who reported in the first post).
