Does UltraVNC use "VNC Password" if MS Logon is en

Post by Mun »

Hi, I'm sure this question has been asked before, my appoligies if so.

In the authentication section of the VNC admin properties there are these 3 controls: a text box for classic VNC authentication and 2 checkboxes for MS Logon I/II. When I tick the checkbox/es and leave the classic VNC authentication with no password, WinVNC complains about the password. But that suggests to me that WinVNC uses the VNC password even though I have asked VNC to require MS Logon. If it does use the password when MS Logon is enabled, where does it use it? And if it doesn't, shouldn't the textbox and checking be disabled when the MS Logon checkbox/es are enabled?

Thank ye,

Mun
