Problem with SCIII and terminal services

Post by minto781 »

Hi! I appologize that i dubbelposted the question in forum SC also. I finally now got an registered account... (5 minutes after a posted the question in SC :-))

I have downloaded and compiled SCIII (from SCIII_test4 and the updated winvnc.exe from 2006-01-30)

To the problem:
vncviewer_ssl.exe fails when I try to connect to a client that is located on a Windows Terminal Server (2003 with the latest servicepack and hotfix) and the clients session is locked and he have to unlock it with ctrl-alt-del and then enter the password again.

Any ideas anyone?

SC can't unlock screen saver or unlock session, only user on remote pc SC

SC is intended as remote support not remote control

you can find on topic "vnc-related product"
you cam remote support and control remote pc

Sorry if i was unclear but i think you have misunderstood me.

I understand that the client is the one who initiate the remote session and then the operator connects to the clients session on the repeater. The problem is that when the operator does that and the client has initated the session from a terminal server the operator cant take over the control (this works just fine on a Windows XP computer but not on a Windows 2003 Terminal server)

Any ideas? This works in SC but not in SCIII and i would like to use SCIII instead of SC....

I've got the same Problem with Terminal Services. It worked with SC but It doesn't work with SCIII. It says the connection was created succesfully but shutsdown directly. The History only says it cannot overwrite a file that is already there. But no temp files are there anymore...

Thanks,
Oliver
