*Newbie* MS Logon II

Post by moviebuff03 »

Ok, I am still a bit confused with all this...

I have setup VNC on two computers (SERVER and PVR). Now I can access the server from the PVR as a I have an actual windows logon account, but don't know how to setup VNC so it will logon to the PVR as I simply use the Administrator without a password. This is automatic when Windows starts up.

When I am prompted by VNC for a username and password the connection fails.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Marscha

sounds like your PVR is XP Home (or something similar).
Maybe you can just use classic authentication in this case.
