I think that UVNC is really done to work only on a Windows computer (too bad) and will need a complete recoding to allow OSX or Linux port of the program.
I am actually trying to create on equivalent of the UVNC SC (with a repeater) on MacOSX using OSXVNC and scripts. As soon as I have something usable (actually I have tested the concept and everything works OK) I will make a post here and perhaps people can help me improve it. |

For OS X users.
It is possible to load vncviewer on OS X.
You can do it in two ways :
- Install QEMU and windowsXP and you can run UVNC
- Install crossover office and run vncviewer.
I'm using crossover office + vncviewer with 128 encription. Works fine for me. |

blaise,
For linux I am using the latest version 1.02 installed in(latest) wine on FC 6 test 2 works great for viewing other vnc servers. For the ecryption you need to have the lastest beta msrc's.. Didnt try to setup the server yet on the linux I need to check that. I know it is not the greatests solution but at least it works.. _________________ Bevtech
