How set connection timeout higher

Is it maybe possible to set the connection timeout higher so the connection isn’t disconnect when the UAC windows popup when a normal user (without administrator privileges). And when the user closes this window the connection re-establish?
Maybe some one can tell where you can do this in the source or may have another idea to solve this.
