Disable server for X time... Snooze/Privacy mode?

Post by tbolick »

I usually leave my machine set up with server running so I can get to anytime I am out of the office. But when I am in the office, I don't want to be bothered by people pinging my machine. So I'd like a way to say "Stop listening for some amount of time". Then I could set it to stop listening for a few hours. If I turn it completely off, I have to remember to turn it back on. So a "Snooze" feature would be really handy which would make sure it came back on after a period of time. This could also be used as a privacy mode, to keep anyone from getting on my machine for a while, if I'm doing something sensitive.

What do you think??
