really oneclick SC

Post by walhalla »

hi,
is it possible to build a SC that really connects to the given server if the client doubleclicks the icon?

problem is, that some users are "not able" to doubleclick on this line with the profile. they click somewhere in the field, wait for connect ...

so it would be great to have a version, which immediately connects if the user ist starting SC without any need to give in ip, host, ... or doubleclick on profil. (regarding windows XP)

any idea for a solution or is it impossible?

thx & cu

You could use [DIRECT] at the top of your helpdesk.txt file. This would take the first entry you specify here, then start the connection.

One drawback with this is if you have multiple entries, these are ignored, as the GUI is not shown.

Hope this helps.
