trouble with WinVNC settings

Post by xkiz2 »

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bits
UVNC: 1.0.8.2

the other day I set the option UseRegistry to 1 and then I rebooted my pc, but when it started again, I changed the PortNumber and then I went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORL\WinVNC3\Default PortNumber, but it never changed at all, I opened the ultravnc.ini and the PortNumber was changed.

and sometimes while I was searching I got the "You do not have the right priviliges to ..." error.

so, why the Ultra VNC can't read from the registry.
