I was doing some testing, and when we tried to uninstall the service, everything was wiped from the screen, and there are no longer any programs showing up in the all programs section.
EDIT: I am using the registry altering service to reboot and reconnect in safemode.

Don't take this the wrong way: Next time test in a VM or have a good handle on the what the script is doing before straying from the given instructions.
Sorry you were bit by some poor code, I'd suggest you find file recovery software.

We got the system recovered, we were testing the code and was curious if anyone else had the problem.

I have been doing a lot of testing, the problem did not lie in the code for the service being installed for safe mode, but in the original service uninstall code. I downloaded Rat's 3.01g, modified the code with all the goodies I wanted, including the reconnect in safe mode code, and it works great, well at least in XP. I will be further testing the code, but this project is great, and I would like to contribute anyway I can. I also done the 1.0.8.0 swap and run the perl linux version of the repeater. I did have a problem with one of the perl scripts, But I threw it aside for a while, so I will have to get back to it later. Thanks, have a great day, and be blessed.
