I agree, a thumbnail view would be excellent.

this guy has already got something started but it doesn't work with the ultravnc viewer.

The states what code he changed in realvnc to acheive this. Unfortunately I nothing about building .exe's - but I am willing to do some testing if someone can incorporate vncon's changes!

note to self - must learn how to build exe's!

Strange.

As far as I remember, 2 years ago I've added the necessary code to UltraVNC viewer so it can be used for Thumbnails via with VNCon... was working fine.

Not used this for a long time though.. going to check.

Hi thanks for the quick resonse...

Just to let you know I have been using RC19.7 here and there and have come across a problem.

Doesn't work on W2K Server (Domain Controller) - had to roll my test server back to RC18.

Had to use both RC18 Server on Server DC and RC18 viewer on local machine.

Problems:
1. authentication - access denied incorrect password - install rc18 same password no problems

2. Screen freezing - unable to do any actions once logged

3. File transfer - message saying attribute disabled on Server - but box clearly ticked.

Don't know if you know about this - but let you know anyway
