Yes this is normal when running in user mode.
Install the UltraVNC server as a service in order to remain in control.

Good day! I have the same problem. When i press "Log out" or "change user" UltraVNC shut down. It's installed as a service. I've tried to unstall different version of program. When i connect to Windows XP it's OK. How can i solve it.

If it's indeed running as a service you will be able to simply open the Viewer and connect to it again once the computer gets to the welcome screen.

Yes, if i connect it again - it's ok. But somedays i have to connect many times to diffrent computers. According to our password policy we have a very long password (not less than 8 letters) and it's not very comfortably to type the password every "Log out" or "change user". So as i realized it's a feature of connection to Windows 7 ?

You can save the password in a .vnc file otherwise utilize SecureVNC's public and private keys instead of a password.

Does the viewer option ( reconnect ) doesn't work.

This option reuse the password and reconnect in background when the server restart in another session.

supercoe, Rudi De Vos

Thank you, this option (reconnection attempts) helps me.
Why does it happen in Windows7 ? Does it related with restarting uvnc service ?

It started with Vista and the implementation of secure desktop. When logging out the user session closes the UltraVNC server which disconnects you.
As long as you have UltraVNC installed as a service it can relaunch the Server at the login screen. :)
