Hi,
is there any way of using DIRECT connection using this creator?
I would like to make the connection without any clic on remote computer.

I know that [DIRECT] command is not supported in RC23.
So is there any English UltraVNC SC Creator based on version REL 1.0 ?

It permites to choose all the lines inside helpdsk.txt file, but no way of findig the [DIRECT] line.

how can [DIRECT] line be automatcly introduced in the .exe file generated?

Ok, so I can get it to create using the latest builds of 7Zip but the winvnc.exe in 1.05 is huge compared to what's in his original folder which is appears to be a 1.02 era build. How do we get a build of winvnc.exe with that functionality for 1.05?

i have made sure that dsm+key is inside main & all subfolders, And also selected "key" file from inside the Host entry double clik window. Then created exe, but it didn't include them ! I had to manually add those two files inside the sc.exe. After that my exe started to work, not before. I'm using your latest version as of Sep 20, 2008.

Question :
have u or anyone else made something similar for the Non-SC version of ultra "winvnc.exe" server ? i wanted to use that for my friends to connect to my viewer, (through vnc reflector).

Are you aware of such solution ? pls let me know, Thanks.

SC and as well SC generator do not support folder
for be clear, all file must be at same level, not subfolder.

if it ignores any subfolder, then it should use the files in the main/same folder !
but its not including even those ! (thats why i placed them even in sub-folders to chk if SCG can catch them somehow).

is your dmsplugin same release at both side ?
dmsplugin 1.1.8 from SC on viewer msrc4plugin.dsm 1.2.2.0 is not compatible, use only the same release at both side for success.

exactly same dsm, same rc4.key ... they are working in encrypted connection.
but i had to manually add them inside the SCG's sc.exe file ! why SCG is not putting them inside, thats the problem.

I obtained the "MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm" from one of the older version that i found in the plugin creator's website. Placed in same folder as SCG.
Made a copy of the file in the same folder, as SCG was in, then renamed that to "MSRC4Plugin.dsm", to have the exact same file with two different name.
Then copied & overwritten inside the sub-folders also, when it was not including.

The "rc4.key" was created with the "MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm" plugin chosen, in the vncviewer.
Previously (before creating rc4.key), i copied the "MSRC4Plugin-122.dsm" file from the "Plugins" subfolder to its parent "UltraVNC" folder, and renamed that to "MSRC4Plugin.dsm".

... just remembered another thing, may be another BUG or strange thing ... when i copied & renamed the "MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm" file into "MSRC4Plugin.dsm" in the same folder as sc_generator.exe, everytime i created sc.exe, SCG always deleted the "MSRC4Plugin.dsm" file automatically without including it inside the sc.exe, so i was left with the "MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm" file alone out of the 2 dsm ! it was deleting the "msrc4plugin.dsm" !
I used the exact same file with vncviewer & winvnc, which is working fine there.

Anyone have plans to update this application to support Vista / 7 in the near future?

I tried the online generator (beta) and it works GREAT! I just wish there was a more GUI based offline version.

Anyone got info on this? I PM'ed K7 but he's MIA.

The only things that changed are the winvnc.exe (sc) and the encryption
plugin has been updated to the latest version.

If you replace both files in the old offline version, it should work.

The online Beta test sign the exe you generate, the offline version
isn't signed, but the signing just prevent the "unkown plublisher"
popup on download and execution.

Give it a try.

SC has been stagnant for many years. I'm not sure it will do any good to ask for changes. They've said they'd fix it but it just seems like they've forgotten about it. It just can't be that hard to incorporate the latest code into the online creator but alas they've decided not to, which is a shame.

THANK YOU ! You allowed me to rebuild my old SC into a modern one using Adam's SecureVNCPlugin.dsm, and it WORKS!

All I did was copy his SecureVNCPlugin.dsm over your MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm and not set a key-file. I now have encrypted UltraVNC SC working.
