I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, but it would be practical for me using one screen (a large 30" screen) to have multiple uvnc sessions active, ordering them "off screen" outside the four sides of the monitor, and to select them by simply scrolling off screen in the direction of the desired session; this would scroll the session into view. Once finished the mouse scrolling back in the opposite direction brings back the local desktop. Key commands welcome.
This is similar to what Input Director or Synergy do with keyboard and mouse control, aligning destinations to the monitor sides.
I'm not sure that if uvnc is minimized whether screen updates are sent along the network but I if so, and for the above scenario, it would be nice to have a kind of standby mode that keeps the connection active with practically no network activity but that can resume screen updating immediately on demand. This would minimize network traffic while multiple servers are being connected to, and allow quick re-establishing of a full uvnc connection.
In essence, this would make uvnc a full soft KVM with quick server switching.
Thanks for reading.
