- Fix bug where screen froze when file transfer or chat was open.
- Close the chat dialog before deleting TextChat object.

- Suppress "File transfer completed" message if there's an error so the error is seen in the history dropdown
- Autoreconnect fix
- Unzip32 zip32 now always appear in installed folder

- Save option permission fix
- Performance tweak for server-side scaling
- Close the chat dialog before deleting TextChat object
- Fixed server crash in KillAllClients when chat window was open
- Suppress duplicate messages about lost communications
- Close textchat dialog if open before deleting textchat object to avoid crashing the server.
- Updated javaviewer
- Unzip32/zip32 are now embedded in the exe
- Drivers: fixed clasic style (bad captionbar)

In the version 1.0.5.3 the problem has remained.

At least you make a test. This is a BUG. Test Please..

We always test it on xp and vista and unless we are able to repeat something we can't fix anything.
Software is tested by several persons and non of them have the same issue.

The problem is : Why does it fail on your system and work on other.

It looks like a pure permission problem, do you have set special security options ? Special software running ?
Domain/workgroup ?
Admin/ restricted user ?

Is runas working on your system? (required to change ultravnc.ini)
test:
If you open notepad with runas (right click) , can you edit the ultravnc.ini

I wonder why 1.05.3 is so far down on the download site.

If I didn't know that there is a newer version, I'd certainly think that 1.0.2 is the most recent version.

Or is 1.0.2 still considered THE stable version, and 1.05.3 is less stable than 1.0.2?

If that's not the case, I'd recommend putting it on top so everybody who visits the DL site can immediately find it.

I'm little bit confused: Is this new release only an x86 release, or is it now two in one (both x86 and x64) as the x64 binaries haven't been updated yet?

Rudi me have found the problem.

The problem introduces when you activate viewonly with Alt+Ctrl+F3.

The name of the version in UltraVNC Viewer GUI it is wrong "1.0.5.2".
Delete saved settings in UltraVNC Viewer GUI in the version 1.0.5.3 not work.

correct i replaced 1.0.5.2 by 1.0.5.3... didn't see the one without the .'s
done

delete saved settings
bug: we changed the spot to save the dedfaults, natural we also need
to change it for delete
done

Alt+Ctrl+F3: It seems the Ctrl get stuck in a down state.
Viewonly start on keypress.... keyup is never send.
workaround:
Press ctrl key once to put the input back to normal.

Really a minor request, but I cannot find anywhere to download 32bit binaries. SourceForge is not updated yet and the uVNC website does not provide them.

can we get a 64bit vista installer?
I am having all kinds of trouble with it. I can connect with a 1.0.2 viewer, but can't "control" it. View only - even when I'm connected via a loop back. Also, trouble getting the mslogin working... an "installer" for the 64 bit stuff would be very beneficial.
