VNC Server for Windows Mobile

Post by wutschgo »

I am pleased to announce the existence of my tiny VNC server software for Windows Mobile and Windows CE devices, called PocketVNC.
You can find it here:
www.pocketvnc.com

I already included the UltraVNC Filetransfer protocol as good as i understood it and as long as it does not change in future versions

I hope the software is useful for somebody.

The software is not free, in order to finance my testing devices and future support, but i am willing to give it to schools and universities for free, just write me an email.

All the Best,
Wolfgang

Maxivista (at lest the demo) is a great product, in a small niche. But why do you have almost 0 competition? Seems strange to me... ZoneOS does about the same, but is much more slow. In searching for alternatives, I see a lot of people asking the same questions, and they all point back to Maxivista.

Well maxivista seems to be a nice software but does it support the PocketPC, WindowsMobile and Windows CE Platform?

Not like ZoneOS/Zonescreen does. Maxivista is Windows PC to windows PC.

Wait... I have no idea how I replied on this board.... This was supposed to be on his page where he plugged his SW....

As you were gentlemen, carry on!
