Nope... that's not the problem. (I had changed that to a local IP today because I was testing from within the network). Below is an updated "helpdesk" file for you to take a look at with my outside domain name instead of my inside IP address.
Just to be sure, I tried using this updated file on a computer offsite from the server and still the same experience:
It says "Connecting". Then the icon turns green and it says "Connected". Then the icon turns yellow again and disappears completely.
So... maybe I need to go back and ask a basic question here. I was thinking about this today and came to something that I might be (obviously) doing wrong.
The SC plugin is a VNC SERVER that someone else runs on their computer so that I can take over their desktop for support purposes, right? So what should I be running on MY computer? Don't I need CLIENT software that's "listening" for a request from the SC server? If so, what is that client software? I'm not using anything to "listen" on the open port... so what needs to be there?
Thanks!
