Backwards Compatiblity

Post by jr7777 »

Fellow Chunkers:

Question...Is the 3.2 version somehow compatible with the 3.0 version. I ask because I have a couple of instances where I instaled as service and those installs are still phoning home. So far, I have not been able to conect to them after upgrading to 3.2.

Also, is there anything one can do to turn off the "forgotten" installs?

Overall a Great solution!

no because 3.2 use the uvnc secure plugin in place of the MSRC4 (used on 3.0 and 3.1)

Thanks Yodz4. That is kind of what I figured. Is there any way to still get a copy of 3.0? Supercoe?

Supercoe:

Thanks for the reply. The 3.0 version didn't help me find the stray server. But I did eventually figure out where I had left an install.

Also, thanks for the off-line banter as well. See you in the summer.
