XP RDP session close if UVNC is running

Post by doum »

Hi,

I have a problem since I deploy uvnc 1.0.9.6.1 on my XP computers

If UltraVNC service is running, I can't get rdp connection

I succesfully connect to rdp on the computer, but after maybe 20s the connection closes with message “The remote session was disconnected because another user has connected to the session.”
I'm sure not another user has connected to the session ;)

If I stop the ultravnc service, no problem, RDP connexion stay connected.

Help

If you are using the RDP support session you can not use it togther with the console session.
Your xp computer also close the rdp connection when someone start using the real display.

Where can I check if I use the RDP support session ? I don't choose it intentionally but maybe...
Nobody use the real display when I do my test

If you have full rdp support, you can start 2 different RDP sessions to the PC,
else your OS have the limited version.

Oh ok nothing to see with uvnc ;)
I don't have full RDP, I'm not sure it exists in Windows XP. If I open a RDP session on this computer, and try another one, it will disconnect the first.
But here I don't start a second session, or a "physical" session. I just run one RDP session, and I'm disconnect after 20s if UltraVNC service is running
