Multiple clients when using Repeater?

Greetings,

I know that I can have multiple clients connected to my server when I am not using an UltraVNC Repeater in-between. However, when I am using a Repeater, I'm noticing that a 2nd connection is rejected - claiming that there is possibly a protocol error. I can confirm that the Server is configured to "keep existing connections" for the "multi viewer connections" settings.
