SC Polling under cursor

Post by rik_rs »

Hi guys,

I'm trying to set SC with the options
PollUnderCursor=1 (important)
OnlyPollOnEvent=1 (not so important)

I've tried initially to simply find such options in my SSVNC (the server I'm using on Linux to receive the SC calls) but no luck.
I've then tried side by side to winvnc.exe, in the temp dir, the files ultravnc.ini, winvnc.ini, default.vnc, with inside
[poll]
PollUnderCursor=1
OnlyPollOnEvent=1

No change. Opening the icon in the systray I still see the options unselected.

Any idea?

Let's put it in another way: is it possible to use a .ini file with SC? That would allow me to set
PollUnderCursor=1

Apart from the problem of adding the .ini into the exe that Engrampa/Xarchiver are not able to do, I've tried first to add a winvnc.ini into the %tmp% dir where the SC expands, but or the option PollUnderCursor is wrong or the .ini name is wrong.

Correction... the problem in my previous test is that when SC expands winvnc.exe is run immediately so my winvnc.ini, added later, is obviously ignored. The only way to test it is to be able to add it into the exe. I've also tried to pass it to the online compile but it is discarded and not added to the output.
