File Transfer doesn't use all the available bandwidth

Post by Radiorama »

Hello,

I use UltraVNC daily to remotely connect to my home PC from work. The remote control software works very well, but I have a concern about the file transfer speed.

I have fiber at home and at work, with Speedtest returning 1000+ mbps in upload and download at both locations; nevertheless, when I use the File Transfer option to transfer files from my home PC (UltraVNC Server) to my work PC (client), I get a transfer speed of 1-2 MB/s, whereas it should theoretically max out at 100 or more. Are there any settings I need to tweak? I'm on 1.6.4.0 on both ends.

Best,
Radio
