Edit: i solved my own problem, but have come up with a different question:

is there a way to automatically blank the local screen without the user clicking the screen-blanking button?

not yet available...maybe later on next major version.
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
OS Win: xp home + vista business + 7 home
only experienced user, not developer

I still do not see this in the current STABLE release am I missing something? (Auto blank with out having to click the toggle).
