ProcessWatcher (possibly useful) for UltraVNC SC Users

ProcessWatcher (possibly useful) for UltraVNC SC Users

Post by TheNETCoder »

Hi out there,

i wrote a little tool that can watch a process and restart it when it fails
or when the user closes it. I called it ProcessWatcher. The idea behind
this comes from a guy (i dont know whether i can tell his name here or
not) who asked me if i can send him my VNCServiceWatcher Application.
But the VNCServiceWatcher is intended for systems running the
VNC Service and only works with the serviced version. But he needed
someting, that can restart a application like UltraVNC SC when it
stops execution or the user closes it by mistake. So i decided to write a
application that can restart a predefined application i.e UltraVNC SC
in the case it closes or has been closed. Maybe some other users of
UltraVNC SC or other applications will find it usefull, so thats why
the app goes GPL and for download.

Application is still Beta but quite stable.
License is GPL and Application comes with full source code(GPL).

Please ask whatever you want to ask here so that others can read it
too. Your comments and improvement suggestions are always
welcome!

Enjoy...

Best Regards

isn't singleclick suppossed to run on the user end? how can you restart it if it's a client and doesn't run as a service?

I'm not sure if i understand what you meant...

Hi Kerem,

I use sometime UltraVNC SC but the connection is very often broken and then I have to phone to get back connection. So the application you wrote should be a great improvement for me.

But the download link is still broken
When will the application be back available?

Best regards

Is there any chance of getting the link to download the software fixed?

This sounds like it might be exactly what I need.

Thank you,
