Task Manager's effect on uVNC

Postby FancyOctopus » 2021-04-24 06:37

Hello,

I have not been able to find something that appears to be related to my problem on the forums. Unfortunately, I'm also a complete beginner with uVNC so I'm not sure what levels of access it has.

To put it simply, whenever I open task manager on the Server using the Viewer on a separate pc, the mouse functionality and keyboard inputs stop registering. Before this, I will have full input functionality. If I close the task manager using the mouse on the Server computer, I can then do mouse inputs from uVNC again.

Now, I'm unfortunately not sure if this is due to a uVNC setting or a windows setting. I'm also not sure if this is even possible to get around. I've tried poking around through the UI in uVNC to see if there was anything obvious, but I couldn't find anything.

cause: UAC
You can, not control a program with a higher security level.

Thoose 3 Solution make it work.
1) Disable UAC
2) Start winvnc.exe with runas admin , the you have the sam security leval as the taskmgr
3) Start winvnc as service, a service always have the highest security level.
